Awakening The Dragons

(Tentative Title, Dragons for Sure!)

September 27-30, 2012

@ Dorje Denma Ling Retreat Centre, Tatamagouche, N.S.

From 2009 “Returning to Our Roots”,  2010 “Returning to the Mother,” and 2011 “The Great Weave” we now awaken the dragons of change and protection, fire that strips away and water that heals and buoys us up.

We will continue to deepen our awareness of essence, the experience of connection and the commitment and action for essential change, using shamanic tools:

~ singing ~ journeying/drumming ~ crystal vibration

~ story telling ~ shape-shifting ~ plant and water energetics

~ ritual ~ movement/dance ~ sweat lodge

… bringing us out of our heads and into pure heart vibration as we weave an energetic vessel to hold us and anchor us through shifting realities.

WHAT ARE WE APPROACHING?

The Grandmothers say:

• A legacy of Light, a dream of beauty, now and for those yet to be born
• The collective wisdom of the Ages with present time to skillfully shift ourselves and our world
• A web of connection joining our pain, our hopes, and our compassion for greater strength and resilience
• Shamanic practices to take care of our need for deep healing and a sense of belonging
• Re-joining the secular and the sacred–form and spirit– to remind us of our wholeness as lived by our Ancestors
• Energy patterns connecting us with the Great Creator as taught by Grandmother Spider, so we can remember “All is One.”

For four evocative days we will open and reflect to one another our true selves, the essence that grounds us in the flow of shifting and shaping new realities. Those who have participated before know the Convergence experience resonates deeply beyond the four days, becoming a touchstone to remembering our essence.

Hosted by the Shamanic Grandmothers Council of Nova Scotia

Participants from all cultures and traditions are welcome at this gathering.

Fees:

Full convergence (includes program, shared accommodation in Lodge at Dorje Denma Ling, and meals) $695

Full convergence (includes program, Bunk house or floor space in meeting room at Dorje Denma Ling, and meals) $555

Full convergence (includes program, Bring your own tent, and meals) $540

We encourage participation in the full program but if you absolutely can attend only one day, the day rate is $175.00 for meals and program.
