Earth mother’s heart resonates healing. We are called to be still and listen. Her needs are our needs. We converge together in a “Return to Earth Mother”. We gather as a multicultural village of well being. In unity we honor our interconnectedness and interdependence with all things.
In a “Return to Earth Mother”, we are home. Healed of separation, we return to who we truly are, co-creating right relationship, benefiting all relations now unto future generations. In a sacred and nurturing environment we offer spaciousness to explore the “elements” of our being through ceremony and sharing.
We envision Earth Mother and her children as healed, walking in beauty.
With open hearts we invite participants from all cultures and traditions to be part of our vision and live the Shamanic Village this Autumn Equinox.
We will gather as a supportive community of wisdom keepers, grandmothers, children and knowledge-seekers from a variety of cultures of Shamanic and other
earth-based spiritual traditions.
We will:
Remember our inter-connectedness with one another, with nature and the
universal flow of life.
Work with the elements as a focal point in sacred ceremony.
Explore who we are as Shamanic practitioners in Spirit; our roles as teachers,
healed healers, and guides.
Re-unite with others of like heart, share experiences, celebrate and “Be” who we
are.

Please note: Much consideration has gone into selecting this year’s gathering site to meet the need for wild, forested spaces, gentle water access and minimum costs to participants. Camp Mockingee meets the above criteria with a wealth of mature Acadian forest, half-wild meadowland for camping (for those that so choose), extensive trails and lake access, and modest dorm-style accommodations.
Participants desiring a little more comfort and privacy are welcome to share rental of cottages nearby: http://www.cottagecountry.ca/pages/rent_a_cottage.htm
Village Keeping: Work Rotations:
It takes us all to co-create a village. Village keeping, includes voluntary hands with gracious hearts for work rotations. In keeping with right relationship and enabling accessibility (financially), villagers will be asked to participate in work rotations. Our co-operative tasks include, food preparation, serving one another, house keeping and land stewardship. Those who have special needs or concerns regarding work rotations are asked to contact us prior to registration.
